Our labs

We work in the New Horizons Research Centre on the Monash University Clayton Campus, a multi-disciplinary and collaborative research environment that hosts engineers, scientists, researchers and government.

Our labs are in the Engineering PC2 Biofacility, which has all of the equipment we need for cell and tissue culture, biomaterial preparation and analysis, as well as equipment to analyse our samples. This includes a microscopy suite including fluorescence and confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, qPCR, Western blotting as well as equipment for biomaterial analysis and testing (NMR, FTIR, rheometer, tensile testing etc).

We are fortunate to have access to world-class facilities and expertise in the Monash Technology Research Platforms. This includes Monash Microimaging, Micromon (genomics), Bioinformatics, Histology and Flowcore amongst others.

The Clayton campus is situated next to the Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication (MCN), Monash Biomedical Imaging and the Australian Synchrotron, and is a stones throw from additional facilities and clinical expertise at the Monash Health Translation Precinct (MHTP).
